Today i left the fields for a while and looked around in the woods. I found a nice house with a lady named Daisy in it. I like her. I brought her some corn oday, and hopefully we can make something happen.

My wife died today. The doctor had told me a while back that it was coming. It's probably for the better. She hated this new world, and it's no suprise it's what brought her down. I was also moved out of the militia to the fields. They told me that someone as stressed out as me shouldn't be holding a gun. It's just for safety reasons. Oh well.

It's officially been the worst week possible. The indians came by and we had to fight then off. Wether they were here for fighting or for peace we don't know, we were just told to shoot. My wifes sick. She's been in bed for the last two days with a horrid fever and cough. I hope things get better.

Bio.

So, today I officially joined the militia.  I'm scared. This new world is hard to live in. People are getting sick, not all of the crops seem to go, and the threat of an indian attack is always near. I hope I won't have to fight. I don't know if I could pull the trigger.  For those of you out there that don't know much about me, my names Morty Smith. I'm 31 years old and came to the New World two months ago. We ended up in a small colony called Johnson Abbey, where the foods hard to grow, the people are always grouchy, and other colonies dislike us for our Non-Puritan beliefs. I'm married to my lovely wife Annette Smith, who's not a fan of this place. The rough terrain and horrible housing conditions arn't ment for women. Oh well. Here we live, here we survive, here we will make our riches.

New World Journey

Officially in the new world! Can't wait to chop down some trees, play marbles, and meet the rest of the citizens of Johnson Abbey! When we docked the ship and got off, we saw a few of the houses they had finished. A little rough looking, but nice in general.
